MENTORING PROGRAMS

1:1 COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS

Big Brothers Big Sisters is now accepting applications for young people 6-16 years old that are in need of 1:1 mentoring in the Napanee community. Our programs offer a safe, caring, nurturing adult to spend time with children/youth that are currently facing challenges, and that could use the support of an additional role model to help buffer the effects of their stresses, and build resilience.

Match visits take place once a week for a few hours each week, and participants will engage in activities they both enjoy doing; playing at a park, going for nature walks, doing art or exploring, playing board/card games, sports and physical activities, etc.

Contact graham.oswald@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca to apply, or for more information!
