In-School Mentoring

The In-School mentoring program provides youth with a role-model and a friend to talk to and share the experiences of growing up within school grounds. For one hour a week, Mentors meet with their mentee and engage in activities such as board games, crafts or just hang out on school grounds.

The In-School Mentoring program requires a weekly visit of one hour for the duration of the school year. Matches do not meet over the summer break or during other school holidays.

We currently offer mentoring at the following schools:

  • Truedell
  • Enterprise
  • Our Lady of Mount Carmel
  • Holsgrove

Supported Growth Group Mentoring

Our Supported Growth Group Mentoring Program provides an engaging and interactive approach to group mentoring within schools. Through this program, we explore a range of meaningful topics, including:

  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Understanding Empathy
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving
  • Self-Discovery and Personal Identity

How it works:
We visit weekly for one-hour sessions that combine fun, interactive games with open and engaging conversations. Using open-ended questions, we foster student-driven discussions that encourage critical thinking and peer learning.

By prioritizing student voices, we create a space where participants can explore topics more deeply or gain new perspectives through active listening and shared experiences. This program is designed to empower youth, build social-emotional skills, and promote growth in a supportive group setting.
