Focused Mentoring
Our Focused Mentoring Program is an 8–12 week initiative designed to engage youth on our waitlist in meaningful 1:3 mentoring sessions while they await a one-on-one mentor match.
Spring Session Schedule (begins on April 14th):
- Mondays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: 1300 Bath Road- Get Active Focus Program (Ages 6–9)
- Sports and Fitness Focus Program (Ages 9-12+)
- Wednesdays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: 559 Bagot Street- Cooking Focus Program (Ages 9–12+)
- Location: 1300 Bath Road
- Art Focus Program (Ages 6–12+)
These group sessions provide a structured environment for skill-building and mentorship, offering participants valuable experiences while they await their one-on-one matches.
Big Bunch Mentoring
Big Bunch is a weekly program designed for children ages 6–10, including those on the waitlist, current mentees, and matched pairs. Through activities like crafts, games, sports, jungle gym play, and baking, Big Bunch fosters engagement and meaningful connections.
Session Times:
- Tuesdays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: 85 Maccauley Street, Rideau Heights Community Centre - Thursdays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: 1300 Bath Road, BGC West End
This program is all about fun, skill development, and nurturing positive mentor-mentee relationships.
Youth Bunch Mentoring
Youth Bunch is tailored for youth ages 11–15, including waitlisted participants, mentees, and matched pairs. This weekly program offers engaging activities such as crafts, games, sports, and jungle gym sessions to encourage connection and skill-building.

- Tuesdays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: 1300 Bath Road, BGC West End
Youth Bunch provides a supportive space for youth to build positive relationships with mentors while having fun and developing new skills.
